Our take
I bought the Callaway Steelhead X-14 4-iron to complete my vintage set, and it’s a classic performer. The True Temper Dynamic Gold stiff shaft gives a firm, consistent feel, and the cavity back offers decent forgiveness for a 20-year-old design. The stainless steel head produces a mid launch with solid feedback. However, the set is used (vintage), so expect wear, and the 4-iron is definitely not a beginner club. At $32.99, it’s cheap, but you’re getting an older model with standard specs. If you want a cheap backup or nostalgia, go for it.
